Makeup Mel Team’s Travel
There is a 6-person minimum for Melissa and staff (if necessary) to travel, all 6 persons must book hair and makeup services. There will be an additional charge for bridal parties over 15 people.
If the bridal party chooses to come to Melissa’s location or studio no travel fee will be assessed. The travel fee is multiplied by two to cover the travel to and from the location. This covers the cost of travel time, lost time behind the salon chair, gas, wear and tear of the car, and the convenience of us traveling onsite to you.

Travel Fee Example
If Mel is traveling 100 miles to the location and 100 miles back from the location, which is a total of 200 miles, then the travel fee would be assessed as follows: 200 miles x $.70 per mile x 2 = $280.00.

This fee covers the cost of bobby pins, free touch-up lips for every person, sponges, etc.

This fee will be applied due to time constraints or parties of 6 or more. Additional assistants may be required; the assistant fee will be assessed per each assistant needed pending time restraints and headcount.

If you choose to travel to me at my location, there is a small rental and clean-up fee. This is to ensure the studio stays clean for your special day and future clients.

There will be an additional fee of $100 for arrivals required before 8 am.
There will be an additional fee for weddings booked on a holiday.
The final payment is due on the wedding day. Failure to make payment on the day of your wedding when asked will result in a 15% upcharge.
You will owe your entire balance if you cancel your appointment once scheduled.
Please do not schedule your Bridal Run-Through before checking that Mel is available for your wedding date first.
Gratuity is appreciated and customary in the beauty industry, with standard rates of 10%, 15%, or 18% of your total service fee. Please note that prices may be adjusted based on specific client requirements, including but not limited to additional services, special needs, or extended time requirements.
