Hey Doll!
I’m Melissa Bogardus, aka Makeup Mel! I have been working in the hair and makeup industry for most of my life (I started when I was only 15). I have worked with clients from every walk of life, from celebrities to fashion models, but my favorite clients are the ones that I get to work with every day – just like you! I’ve worked very hard over the years to train an incredible team of artists that allow me to have more time to focus on each client. We work almost everywhere, including magazines, commercials, photoshoots, and weddings, and with girls attending formals, competing in pageants and preparing for their senior portraits.
I am wife to Scott, mom to Jack, and stepmom to twins, Lilly & Jolie, and my fur baby, Ginger the Golden. In my spare time, you will find me enjoying Friday night dinners with my family, working out (my fave stress reliever!) or learning to shoot fashion photos on my iPhone.
